This series was CNBC’s first foray into premium documentary content. It profiles the lives of six notorious icons from the 1980s, including Rudy Giuliani and Donald Trump. The network wanted recreations on par with the Jinx or The Keepers, so I was hired as the lead Producer. In one month’s time we prepped and shot for 10 days in New York City with a massive crew and dozens of actors. Without a locked edit to guide the recreation team, I did double duty to understand the story in-depth and ensure post-production was happy with the material.
